The shoot of Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bling kicked off in Patiala today. While the superstar has started shooting, an image of him holding the films clapboard was released online.
In fact, Akki even posted a video yesterday, asking all his fans for their best wishes.
The Prabhudheva-directed film sees the fresh jodi of Akshay and Amy Jackson. One might remember that Kriti Sanon was the first choice for this role but she had to opt out when the film was repeatedly pushed.
Since her dates clashed with Rohit Shettys Dilwale starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan, Kriti bowed out and in came Amy.
Not just that, the Singh Is Bling team had even set out to South Africa for a recce but all that came to a naught when the producers apparently decided to cut down the budget of the movie. Naturally, with all these hindrances, it took a while for the film to go on floors.
But now that it has finally taken off, do you think Akki and Prabhudheva will be able to repeat their Rowdy Rathore magic?
